Teaching prepositions can be a real pain in the neck because it takes a lot of drilling. With this game, you can let students drill on their own and correct each other while you take a break. The set consists of 50 picture cards with sentences to complete, along with answers on the back.
The rules are simple – get rid of all your cards. The game resembles Uno, you will find more detailed instructions in the box.
Lair’s tip: When drilling, beginners need more connection with real life. After the game, read out a sentences on the cards, e.g. The painting hangs on the wall and ask students to produce a sentence about something in the classroom that hangs on the wall. You can level it up by asking them to write down their own sentences. Here, the erasable mini-boards come in handy because you can check all sentences at one glance.
