Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the online shop operated by Teachers’ Lair OÜ, registration code 14557255, registered address Väike-Ameerika 39/1-7, Tallinn, Estonia, email: info@teacherslair.eu (hereinafter “Seller”).

1. Scope of Application
1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Seller’s online shop.
1.2. The Seller sells and delivers products to the following counties: Estonia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgarian, Spain, the Netherlands, Croatia, Ireland, Italy, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Poland, France, Sweden, Romania, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, Denmark, Czech Republik and Hungary.
1.3. These Terms apply separately to consumer customers (natural persons acting outside their economic or professional activity) and business customers (legal persons or natural persons acting in the course of business).

2. Products
2.1. The Seller offers educational materials and tools (physical goods).
2.2. Product descriptions and prices are indicated next to the products. Images are for illustrative purposes, and the actual product may differ slightly due to manufacturing or display differences.

3. Prices and Payment
3.1. All prices are displayed in euros (EUR).
3.2. Shipping costs are added to the order total and displayed before payment.
3.3. Payments are processed via Montonio (including bank link, credit card payments, and bank transfers based on invoice).
3.4. Payment must be made in full before the order is confirmed.
3.5. The Seller reserves the right to correct obvious pricing errors or technical mistakes. If an incorrect price has been displayed, the Seller may cancel the order and refund any paid amount.

4. Order Process and Contract Formation
4.1. The Customer places an order via the online shop placing the products into the shopping cart.
4.2. The sales contract is concluded only when the Seller sends a separate order confirmation email to the Customer.
4.3. The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order without providing a reason prior to sending the order confirmation.

5. Delivery
5.1. Goods are shipped from Estonia.
5.2. Delivery is carried out through third-party logistics providers selected by the Seller.
5.3. Estimated delivery times:

  • Estonia: 3–7 business days
  • Other countries: 5–14 business days
  • In any event, delivery shall occur no later than 30 days from conclusion of the contract.

5.4. The risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customer upon delivery.
5.5. The Customer bears the shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
6.1. A consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
6.2. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the consumer receives the goods.
6.3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform the Seller by email before the withdrawal period expires.
6.4. The costs of returning the goods will be borne by the buyer, unless the reason for return is the fact that the item being returned does not correspond to what was ordered (e.g. an incorrect or defective item).
6.5. The goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the notification of withdrawal.
6.6. The Seller shall refund all payments received, excluding original delivery costs where, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
6.7. The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • Goods damaged or used beyond what is necessary to inspect them.

6.8. In order to return the goods, the buyer should submit a withdrawal application whose form can be accessed here: Withdrawal application and send it via e-mail no later than 14 days of receiving the goods.
6.9. If the buyer has explicitly chosen a method of delivery different from the most inexpensive normal method of delivery offered by the online shop, the online shop is not required to refund to the consumer the amount exceeding the cost of normal delivery.

7. Defective or Non-Conforming Goods
7.1. The Seller is liable for non-conformity of goods existing at the time of delivery.
7.2. Consumers have the right to submit claims within two (2) years from delivery.
7.3. In case of defective or incorrectly delivered goods, the Seller shall bear the cost of return shipping.
7.4. The Customer must notify the Seller of defects within a reasonable time after discovery.

8. Business Customers
8.1. Business customers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.
8.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Seller excludes liability for defects after delivery.
8.3. Business customers must inspect goods upon receipt and notify the Seller of defects without undue delay.

9. Intellectual Property
9.1. All trademarks, logos, designs, and materials bearing the Seller’s brand are the intellectual property of the Seller.
9.2. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without prior written consent is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. The Seller is liable only for direct damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
10.2. The Seller shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.

11. Data Protection
11.1. The Seller processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
11.2. Detailed information is provided in the Privacy Policy.

12. Force Majeure
The Seller is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

13. Amendments
The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The version applicable to the Customer is the version in force at the time of order.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
14.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
14.2. Consumers may submit complaints to the Consumer Disputes Committee in Estonia.
14.3. The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/odr.
14.4. In case of discrepancies between language versions, the Estonian version shall prevail.
14.5. Disputes shall be resolved by Harju County Court unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
