Lair’s tip: In order to make it more competitive, add time restrictions for producing correct sentences, such as the speaker having to start in two seconds after drawing the card, or even immediately. If you are preparing students for a C1 level examination, have them write down words they are not familiar with or would like to include in their active vocabulary. You can create different extension activities to help them learn their individual sets of new vocabulary (example sentences, creating a story, comparison with similar words, recap their day using the new words etc.).
