Add a burst of energy to your classroom or game night with One Night Ultimate Werewolf, a quick social deduction game built around discussion, persuasion, and a little bit of bluffing.

Each player (suitable for 3-10 players) receives a secret role – maybe a Villager, maybe a Werewolf, maybe something more mysterious. Players then discuss, question, accuse, defend themselves, and try to figure out who the werewolves are before the final vote. Because players can say almost anything during the discussion (including the occasional lie), every round becomes lively, unpredictable, and often hilarious.

Each game lasts about 10 minutes, making it perfect for slipping into a lesson as a speaking activity or warm-up. It’s especially great for encouraging natural, everyday conversation, the kind of spontaneous language that often doesn’t appear in typical classroom topics but is essential for real-life communication.

Outside the classroom, it’s just as fun for a game night with friends, where quick thinking and good bluffing skills make every round memorable.

Lair’s tip: There’s always a chance that students slip into their native language. Set the rule from the start: English only. If the native language appears, the game disappears. It may sound harsh, but it works like magic – suddenly everyone is very much eager to keep the conversation going in English.
